While in graduate school I worked on a collaborative project with professor Christine Baeumler and 3 other fellow students, Toby Sisson, Laura Corcoran and Jamie Winter-Dawson. Along with many community partners, we helped design and plant a rain garden and we worked with youth to create ceramic tiles for a pathway through the garden. The project combined expertise in landscape architecture, soil science, city planning, and of course art. It modeled a way that my work could engage communities, promote environmental change in the outdoors and in an aesthetic way. These videos tell the story of the collaboration.

The East Side Gateway Rain Garden Project is a short documentary on the creation of this collaborative, community rain garden, in St Paul, MN, which is at the entrance to the Bruce Vento Regional Trail.
